Amazon.com API

Hi David,

With refernce to this article http://www.magicparser.com/node/123 is there a way to search the amazon.co.uk API without including the "&SearchIndex=Electronics" category info, For example if users are searching for a product which they are not sure of which category it is in.

As far as I know there isn't i'm afraid, specifically I think this is to prevent automated queries designed to extract a large portion of the database. I'll have a look into it though, but I think all API queries have to be reference to a particular category...

Might be worth deleting all amazon cookies from your computer in case they are in a funny state...
