Hi Jonny,

This is essentially what blogging scripts do - you can post articles, and then the front page of the blog can contain snippets (i.e. the first 3 lines) of the latest articles (most scripts allow you to configure how many and how much of the articles are displayed on the front page).

Have you thought about installing a blogging script (for example WordPress into a sub-directory of your site? If you can make that do what you want - the easiest way to go forward would then be to look at reading the blog articles directly into your homepage...

Hi,

I've just thought of an easy way to display the articles from WordPress on the front page of your site....

WordPress generates an RSS feed, which contains the news headline and i'm pretty sure can be configured to include a snippet of the article.

In which case, if you wanted to try WordPress (installed in a sub-directory), I can then show you how to write a script to display the latest articles on your homepage by using Magic Parser (just like the BBC news example here), which is of course part of your Price Tapestry site!
